The concepts “monitoring” and “advertising monitoring” appeared and established within the Russian advertising business community to a big extent owing to our company. Monitoring means the observation, systematization, registration and analysis of particular events, processes, objects, etc. which are monitoring subjects. The subjects of monitoring research conducted by our company at the moment are all kinds of marketing communications (ATL, BTL and PR company activities). The monitoring results, in general, comprise various databases and reports based on them and containing detailed description of various marketing activities of the company, such as: volumes, budgets, visual presentations, etc. Different kinds of analysis can be performed on the basis of factual monitoring data, allowing us to make conclusions about marketing strategies of market participants.
