To monitor advertisement, the media, and music videos, original specialized software was developed by RPRG specialists.

4 Media Monitoring is a system of collecting and storing monitoring information. Hardware-software complex "4Media Monitoring" provides collecting and processing of monitoring data related to advertisements, music videos, various kinds of information on TV, in the press, on the radio, as well as to outdoor advertisement. It is based on the Client-Server technology using Borland (Inprise) Delphi 3.02 complex programs. The complex includes:

  • Automated working places of "4M-Monitoring";
  • Subsystem for controlling the database structure in the multi-user system "4M-Manager";
  • Navigation, editing and data controlling subsystem "4M-Editor" which provides a single mechanism of advertisement description for all media;
  • Subsystems for analyzing and processing monitoring and decision support;
  • Software system providing storage and control of integrated monitoring databases of central and regional media (RDBMS);
  • System of online data replication (updating) on customers’ servers providing transparent and timely data updating on the client’s side without involving the Client’s personnel;
  • Subsystems of off-line automated data replication (updating) on the Client’s side via e-mail. This system provides total control of the order of data sending, quality of data transfer and possible errors when updating the client’s database. In these software complexes was used an original technology "Automatic Check List Processing" developed by RPRG.

Media Master is a client software for searching, processing and analyzing monitoring information.

The client software (MEDIA MASTER pack) enables the user to find, analyze and process the data on advertisements, music videos and various information blocks monitoring as well as making reports on the basis of Microsoft Access.

  • ADJUSTABLE REQUEST PARAMETERS PROVIDING QUICK DATA SEARCH BASED ON ANY INFORMATION OF THE CLIENT;
  • WIDE RANGE OF QUERIES FOR ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING DATA IMPLEMENTED ON THE BASIS OF EXPERT CLIENT SURVEYS AND EXISTING EXPERIENCE IN ADVERTISEMENT MARKETING;
  • AUTOMATED TRANSFORMATION OF THE OBTAINED DATA INTO A REPORT;
  • QUERIES AND REPORTS PRESENTED IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH;
  • QUICK ADAPTATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE SOFTWARE TO THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF THE CLIENT;
  • USER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE ENABLING THE USER TO MASTER THE SYSTEM QUICKLY.

  • TV_MASTER – AN INSTRUMENT FOR WORKING WITH THE TELEVISION MONITORING DATABASE
  • PRESS_MASTER - AN INSTRUMENT FOR WORKING WITH THE PRESS ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING DATABASE
  • OUTDOOR_MASTER – AN INSTRUMENT FOR WORKING WITH THE OUTDOOR ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING DATABASE
  • RADIO_MASTER – AN INSTRUMENT FOR WORKING WITH THE RADIO ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING DATABASE
  • MEDIA_MASTER – AN INSTRUMENT FOR WORKING WITH THE COMBINED DATABASE OF ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING IN ALL MEDIA

ALL MEDIA MASTERS ARE CHARACTERISED BY A COMMON FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLE AND A COMMON INTERFACE STYLE

TVN and TVL packages

The Client software for finding data, analyzing monitoring results and decision support (TVN package) was created with the use of Borland Delphi 3.02. This software is able to process quickly and effectively large amounts of data. There are several modifications of this pack:

  • for processing data on central and Moscow media;
  • for processing data on regional media;
  • for processing combined data on central, Moscow and regional media.

Client software for finding data processing results and decision support (TVL pack for minor samples providing monitoring data on the four media in the form of a local database)

RTR (Radio & TV recorder)

For recording and storing television and radio broadcasts, an RTR (Radio & TV recorder) software complex was created and works successfully. It can store television or radio broadcasts archive up to 6-7 months. It is also used to find and store commercials.

BCA (BTL competitor’s analysis)

This software is intended for inputting, storing and processing results as well as preparing reports about all types of BTL activity of different companies on a particular market. The software allows us to analyze the data as a whole or grouped by:

  • types of BTL activity of different companies (POSM, Consumer promotion, DM, Special Events, Trade Promotion, Sponsorship)
  • brand or company
  • price segment
  • any geographic category

At the moment, software is being developed for automatic image detection and video and radio items search by key word.
